We would like to thank all the persons and participants who took part in the screening+discussion yesterday 18.11 in the "Haus der Kulturen der Welt" and especially Pr. Dr. Karl Schlögel and Stefan Felsberg for the debates after the viewing as well as Carolin Berendts and Cordula Hamschmidt for the wonderful organisation. About 270 persons were present to the ceremony. We are looking forward to see you again in the next screenings.

Dear friends,
on 20th October, the project “Border Speaking” has reached its final destination on the beach of Ahlbeck – Świnoujście, on the German-Polish border. During 3 months, from the Adriatic to the Baltic Sea, more than 2000 persons from 8 different countries attended one of the 40 screenings of the documentary « La frontière intérieure » and shared their impressions and experiences.
For those who could not participate in the event on the border, the 40+1st projection will be organized in Berlin on 18th November at 7 p.m. in the « Haus der Kulturen der Welt » (www.hkw.de). After the film a discussion will be introduced by the historian Pr. Dr. Karl Schlögel to conclude the event “Border Speaking”.

The itinerant project "Border Speaking" starts on Monday 20th of July with the first projection in Koper-Capodistria on the Adriatic Sea. 39 others projections are planned until 20th October with the last one on the Baltic Sea. The public viewing is free. We are looking forward to meet you there.

You will find there all information concerning the event "Border Speaking", the itinerant public-viewing of a documentary film travelling along the former Schengen-border from the Adriatic to the Baltic Sea. This website has been elaborated by atelier Limo and its webmaster KNet Solutions.
Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer la mise en ligne du site www.border-speaking.eu. Vous y trouverez toutes les informations concernant l'événement "Border Speaking", la projection itinérante du film "la frontière intérieure" dans 40 lieux le long de l'ancienne frontière de Schengen de la mer Adriatique à la mer Baltique qui aura lieu cet été. Au cours des deux prochaines semaines, du 18.04 au 30.04, nous retournerons le long de la frontière pour rencontrer les partenaires du projet "Border Speaking" afin d'organiser les 40 projections du film "la frontière intérieure" prévues du 01.08.09 au 10.10.09 de la Mer Adriatique à la Mer Baltique.
During the two next weeks, from 18.04 to 30.04, we will be travelling along the border to meet the partners of the project "Border Speaking" in order to organize the 40 public-viewings planned between the 01.08.09 and the 10.10.09 from the Adriatic to the Baltic Sea.

Merci à toutes les personnes qui sont venues au vernissage de l'exposition "L'Est en transition, frontières en mouvement" et à ceux qui ont participé au projet, en particulier Camille et Ludo du bureau Smagghe, Odile Werner de la MAV et l'entreprise Gabarit. L'exposition est ouverte toutes les semaines du mardi au samedi jusqu'au 23 mai 2009. L'entrée est libre et gratuite.
We would like to thank the people who could come to the opening of the exibition "L'Est en transition, frontières en mouvement" especially Camille and Ludo of the atelier Smagghe, Odile Werner of the MAV and Gabarit who worked with us on this project. The exibition will be offen every week (Tuesday > Saturday) till the 23th of may 2009. The entrance is free.
